Kerstin Rydbeck

Professor Kerstin Rydbeck is a faculty member at Uppsala Universitet in Sweden. Her research focuses on the professional identities of public librarians, archivists, and museum professionals across Europe, as well as the legitimacy of these institutions as public spheres. She has conducted multi-country comparisons of public librarians’ perceptions of their roles in supporting the public sphere, and has explored innovative initiatives such as "Libros Para Pueblos." Professor Rydbeck's work contributes significantly to the field of Information Studies.
