About
Kofi Dadzie Kwofie is an Assistant Professor at Kitasato University Hospital in Japan. His research areas focus on molecular parasitology, vector-borne diseases, and the interactions between arthropod vectors and their pathogens. Recent publications include studies on the circulation of Dibothriocephalus nihonkaiensis in Japan, RNA activation in ticks, and the global burden of food- and vector-borne parasitic zoonoses. He also explores the ambivalent roles of oxidative stress in host-pathogen-vector dynamics and mosquito-borne arboviral transmission risks in Ghana.
