Kouko Tatsumi

Kouko Tatsumi is an associate professor at Nara Medical University in Japan. His research focuses on the modulation of pain sensitivity by dermal macrophages, the expression of amino acid transporters in experimental Parkinsonism, and the effects of juvenile social isolation on brain structures. He has also contributed to studies on glial populations in aging and remyelinating mouse models, as well as the regulation of inflammatory responses in macrophages. His recent articles explore various aspects of neuronal and glial interactions in the context of neurobiology.
