Postdoc Position in Neuroscience – Vascular Contributions to Dementia A postdoctoral position is available in the Zuloaga Lab at Albany Medical College to study vascular contributions to dementia, with a particular focus on sex differences and sex-specific risk factors such as menopause. The project uses a broad translational toolkit including in vivo cerebral blood flow measurements, in vivo gene manipulation (AAVs), cognitive behavioral testing, endothelial translatome (TRAP-seq), transcriptomics, molecular biology, immunohistochemistry, mouse models of metabolic disease, menopause, and Alzheimer’s disease, as well as VCID and multi-etiology dementia research.
