About

Lander Baeten is an Associate Professor at Ghent University in Belgium. His research focuses on the effects of forest structure on biodiversity, plant diversity dynamics, and the impact of global change on temperate forest ecosystems. Recent publications include studies on arthropod biomass in deciduous forests and the role of tree species mixing in enhancing tree performance.
