About
Professor Louise Lewis is a faculty member at the University of Connecticut in the United States. Her research primarily focuses on phycology, with recent works exploring eco-phylogenetic studies of green algal lichens, frost hardiness in different Mougeotia species, and the evolution of chloroplast genomes in charophycean green algae. Additionally, she investigates the photophysiological responses of Zygnema species to temperature stress and the adaptations of terrestrial green algae to dehydration.
