About

María del Carmen Casas Castillo is a Profesor Titular de Universidad at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya· BarcelonaTech in Spain. Her research primarily focuses on hydrometeorology and its implications on environmental factors, as demonstrated in her recent articles regarding rainfall patterns and pollen seasons in the Northeastern Iberian Peninsula. Her work includes analyses of rainfall intensity, monthly rainfall trends, and the interrelation between meteorological conditions and airborne allergens.
