Marcello Vasta

Marcello Vasta is a Professor at the University of Chieti-Pescara in Italy. His research focuses on the modeling of biological tissues, particularly in relation to the collagen architecture of the human cornea, as well as finite element analysis in implant dentistry and the behavior of periodic materials in non-standard thermoelasticity. His recent publications highlight advancements in the understanding of tissue growth, remodeling, and the mechanical properties of soft tissues.
