Marco Heurich is a Professor at the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, Norway. His research areas include wildlife ecology, forest ecosystems, and the social perceptions of wildlife, as evidenced by his recent articles on topics ranging from the dispersal ability of carrion beetles to the ecological feasibility of restoring the Eurasian lynx in Great Britain. He also explores the impacts of visitor density on perceived crowding in outdoor recreation settings and the ecological dynamics in temperate forest environments.
