Professor Marek Lewandowski is a faculty member at the Institute of Geophysics P.A.S in Poland. His research primarily focuses on the geophysical implications of the terrestrial magnetic field and the geochemical and magnetic characteristics of glacial sediments in Svalbard. Recent publications include studies on the decay of the dipolar component of the Earth's magnetic field and investigations into "Cryodust" found in glacial cores from Southern Spitsbergen.
