About

Marguerite Mauritz is an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at El Paso, USA. Her research focuses on the interactions between climate change and ecosystem dynamics, with particular emphasis on tundra and boreal regions. Recent articles authored by Dr. Mauritz explore topics such as the impact of wildfires on carbon dioxide uptake, permafrost thawing effects on soil moisture and gas emissions, and the use of advanced technology in ecological monitoring.
