About

Maria Cameira is an Associate Professor at Instituto Superior de Agronomia, Portugal. Her research primarily focuses on the interactions between soil water dynamics and agricultural practices, particularly in the context of Mediterranean agriculture and rice production systems in Guinea Bissau. Recent articles highlight her work on groundwater abstraction estimation, soil salinity diagnosis, and methodologies for optimizing water productivity in collective irrigation systems.
