Maria Groppi

Maria Groppi is a Full Professor at the University of Parma, Italy. Her research focuses on mathematical modeling in biological and physical systems, with recent work involving chemotaxis and reaction-diffusion models related to Multiple Sclerosis, as well as studying macroscopic equations for inert gas mixtures. She has contributed significantly to the understanding of boundary conditions in fluid dynamics and ecological modeling, particularly in relation to ephemeral ecosystems.
