Marina Scarpa

Marina Scarpa is a Professore Ordinario at Università degli Studi di Trento, Italy. Her research encompasses nanocellulose materials, hybrid hydrogels, and their applications in biocompatibility and drug delivery. Recent publications include studies on ion-specific gelation, the development of hydrophobic nanocellulose from citrus waste, and the use of porous silicon microparticles in immunology. Scarpa is also involved in advancing the design of composite membranes with tunable gas selectivity.
