About

Marton Horvath is the Head of the Species Conservation Department at BirdLife Hungary (MME). His research primarily focuses on the influence of infrastructure on breeding distributions of threatened predators, sex-biased and density-dependent natal dispersal in raptors, and the effects of poisoning on adult survival rates in long-lived raptor species. Additionally, he explores innovative approaches such as using detection dogs to uncover illegal pesticide poisoning incidents affecting raptors in Hungary.
