About
Mary Konkle is an Assistant Professor at Ball State University in the United States. Her research focuses on biochemical and biophysical studies of mitochondrial proteins, particularly the iron-sulfur protein MitoNEET and its interactions with biological thiols and lipid-derived electrophiles. Dr. Konkle has published recent articles on the reactivity of MitoNEET as well as its role in metabolic changes in HepG2 cells. She is also investigating the catecholase activity of copper(II) complexes and their mechanistic pathways.
