Mary Patterson is a Professor and Chair of Emergency Medicine, as well as the Associate Dean of Experiential Learning and Lou Oberndorf Professor of Healthcare Technology at the University of Florida, USA. Her research focuses on improving emergency care communication, addressing disparities and implicit bias, and enhancing interprofessional training in pediatric settings. Recent articles authored by her include studies on language-concordant communication, quality improvement in pediatric Graduate Medical Education, and innovative approaches to telemedicine in rural healthcare.
