Postdoctoral position in Cyber Attack Simulation for Autonomous Penetration Testing at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. The project focuses on threat modeling , attack simulations , AI-based penetration testing, and decision support for autonomous security agents. The research will develop structured models of attacks and their properties, including attack quality measures such as time, detection risk, resource requirements, and consequences. It also includes simulation agents, policy-based methods, AI-based approaches, and further development of the Meta Attack Language (MAL) . This is a postdoctoral employment for up to two years , full time, with monthly salary. The position is linked to a new Vinnova project aimed at making autonomous penetration testing agents more effective and more responsible. Required qualifications include a doctoral degree or equivalent foreign degree by the time of the employment decision, strong expertise in the subject area, scientific proficiency, good collaborative skills, and the ability to work independently. Preferred qualifications include a PhD obtained within the last three years, strong teaching abilities, and awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues.
