Up to two additional full-time PhD or postdoctoral positions are available in Practical Philosophy, with considerable freedom to develop projects complementing the group’s expertise. Possible areas include action theory, philosophy of mind, formal approaches to epistemology, human agency, social influence, ethics, and emerging technologies. The positions are stably funded and follow German public-sector TV-L standards applicable to academic researchers in Bavaria, typically at salary level E13 or E14. The stated gross monthly salary is approximately €4,500–€7,200, depending on experience and qualifications.
