About

Dr. Miriam Nokia is an Associate Professor at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. Her research interests encompass the lateralization of hippocampal activities, the modulation of learning-related interoception by the cardiac cycle, and the interplay between cardiorespiratory rhythms and cognitive conditioning in aging populations. She has published numerous articles exploring the physiological and neural correlates of memory and learning processes, particularly in relation to the hippocampus and its functions in both healthy and genetically predisposed populations.
