Dr. Mohammad Maqusood Alam is a Research Assistant Professor at Gachon University Gil Medical Center in South Korea. His research areas include the modulation of Mycobacterium tuberculosis dihydroneopterin aldolase activity, the design of novel phospholipid-based antitumor agents, and the development of selective antileishmanial drugs. Dr. Alam is also engaged in the synthesis and characterization of new derivatives targeting the 18KDa translocator protein and conducting bioinformatic analyses of its pathways in relation to human diseases.
