Monika Fagevik Olsén is a Professor at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Her research focuses on surgical techniques in rib plating, medical students' writing efficacy, the applications of positive expiratory pressure, and the management of patients with thoracic trauma from low to middle socioeconomic backgrounds. She has also conducted studies on physiotherapy practices following chest trauma, early mobilization in intensive care, and the effectiveness of manual therapy in cystic fibrosis care.
