Mool Gupta

Mool Gupta is the Langley Distinguished Professor at the University of Virginia. His research focuses on laser processing technologies, specifically in the areas of recycling of materials from solar cells and the fabrication of advanced optical devices. Recent articles include studies on laser recycling of silver from silicon and CIGS solar cells, as well as the laser fabrication of microlenses and infrared focal plane array devices. He also explores the effects of rapid thermal annealing and laser ablation techniques in improving the performance of semiconductor materials.
