Assistant Teaching Professor in Arts & Humanities (Photography and Visual Media Art)

The School of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences (IAS) at the University of Washington Bothell invites applications for a teaching faculty position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor in Arts & Humanities . This is a full-time, nine-month, 5-year academic appointment with an anticipated start date of September 16, 2027 . The successful candidate will teach a range of courses in digital photography , interdisciplinary art , visual art and design , and related media fields. The role emphasizes excellence in teaching, mentorship, scholarship, and service within a diverse and inclusive academic community. The position is teaching-track and not eligible for tenure. Applicants must have an MFA or Ph.D. by the time of appointment and at least 1–2 years of teaching experience in Photography and Visual Media Art courses.
