About
Nuno Borges is an Invited Auxiliary Professor (60%) at the Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Setúbal, Portugal. His research focuses on mycobacterial glycolipid biosynthesis, particularly the role of the mannosyltransferase PimE, as well as the production and purification of phosphatidylinositol mannosides. Additionally, he explores bacteriome structures and functions in fish larviculture, along with metagenome-assembled genome sequences of uncultured Planktomarina sp. strains from the Northeast Atlantic Ocean.
