Oliver Strobel

Oliver Strobel is the Head of Department and Professor of Visceral Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria. His research primarily focuses on pancreatic surgery, particularly in areas such as patient-reported outcomes after duodenum-preserving pancreatic head resection, predictors of postresection survival in pancreatic cancer, and complications following pancreatoduodenectomy. He has contributed to significant studies addressing the classification of pancreatic duct conditions and the management of early-onset pancreatic cancer.
