Otakar Frank is the Head of Department at the Czech Academy of Sciences, J. Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry. His research focuses on the characterization of interlayer excitons, structural and chemical changes in silicon nanoparticle-based anodes, and the photoluminescence tuning of MoS2 heterostructures. His recent work also includes studies on resonance Raman scattering in materials such as CrSBr and the development of novel anode materials for lithium-ion batteries.
