Pablo Alcón

New postdoc opening at Aarhus University in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics , in the Mechanisms of Chromatin Repair (MCR) Lab led by Pablo Alcón . The project sits at the intersection of DNA repair , biochemistry , structural biology , and single-molecule imaging . The lab studies how DNA damage is recognised, signalled, and repaired, with a focus on DNA repair complexes and chromatin repair mechanisms. This is a 2-year postdoc position with the possibility of extension to a 3rd year . The post highlights excellent facilities and a young, international group. No stipend amount or detailed funding package is stated in the post. Ideal candidates should have experience in cell culture , genome editing , and a strong biochemistry background. Experience in structural biology , especially cryo-EM , is a plus, though training can be provided.
