About

Paola Sessa is an Associate Professor at the University of Padua, Italy. Her research focuses on visual working memory, facial expression processing, and the neural mechanisms underlying empathic responses. Recent articles include a critical review of unconscious visual working memory, studies on facial mimicry and visual awareness, and investigations into cortical dynamics during face processing.
