Pavel Karen

Professor Pavel Karen is a faculty member at the University of Oslo in Norway. His research interests focus on valence as a quantity, defect chemistry, and oxygen nonstoichiometry in various materials, as evidenced by his recent publications. He has contributed to the understanding of crystal structures and structural transitions in complex oxides, including YBaFe4O7 and EuBaCo2O5. Professor Karen employs heuristic algorithms to elucidate chemical concepts and properties.
