About

PD Dr. Khalil Zakeri Lori is a Heisenberg Fellow of Experimental Condensed-matter Physics and the Head of the Heisenberg Spin-dynamics Group at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany. His research focuses on the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction in layered magnets, spin-orbit induced magnon nonreciprocity, and ultrafast terahertz magnons in nanomagnets, among other topics. Dr. Zakeri Lori has published several recent articles investigating the temperature evolution of the Fermi surface in FeSe monolayers and the fundamental magnetic interactions in ferromagnetic materials.
