Peter Christensen is a Professor and Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Aarhus University Hospital in Denmark. His research focuses on the long-term effects of treatments for colorectal and bladder cancer, particularly their impact on quality of life and bowel function. Recent publications include studies on chronic pain after colorectal cancer treatment and management guidelines for low anterior resection syndrome. He is actively involved in advancing the understanding and management of late effects following cancer treatments.
