Peter Kollar is the Head of the Department and Vice Dean for student affairs, alumni relations, and personnel development at Masaryk University, Faculty of Pharmacy in the Czech Republic. His research areas primarily focus on the development of novel pharmacological agents, including histone deacetylase inhibitors and antimicrobial compounds. Recent publications highlight his work on anticancer properties of salicylanilides and the activities of various chlorinated compounds against bacterial infections.
