Post-doctoral researcher in Cell Biology and Immunology at the Centre d'Immunologie de Marseille-Luminy (CIML), France. This funded postdoctoral opportunity is part of an INCA PL-BIO project focused on understanding how the endoplasmic reticulum unfolded protein response (UPR) can potentiate immunotherapy. The research will investigate how small molecules that stimulate the UPR may synergize with the innate immune response to improve the efficacy of immunotherapeutic treatments. The successful candidate will join the Dendritic Cell Biology team led by Philippe Pierre at the CIML, a joint research unit of CNRS, Inserm, and Aix-Marseille University. The laboratory hosts around 200 staff across 16 research teams and is based in the Luminy science and technology park in Marseille. The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to experimental research and also take part in cross-cutting laboratory activities and shared tasks. Research methods will include advanced cellular imaging, cytometry, molecular biology, mammalian cell culture, confocal microscopy, biochemistry, and omics approaches, all applied to cell biology and immunology questions relevant to immunotherapy. Eligibility highlights include a PhD or equivalent in cell biology, immunology, or a closely related biological science; a publication track record; 1–4 years of research experience; strong teamwork skills; and familiarity with ethical, health, and safety regulations.
