About

Pilar Castro-Diez is a Professor at the University of Alcalá in Spain. Her research primarily focuses on the ecological impacts of invasive species, carbon stock assessments in various forest types, and the management of non-native tree species. Recent articles highlight her work on the effects of invasive aquatic snails and the interplay between biotic and abiotic factors affecting non-native species. She is actively engaged in identifying potential invasive species and quantifying their impacts on ecosystem services.
