Dr. Pilar Lecumberri-Sanchez is an Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta Faculty of Science in Canada. Her research focuses on synthetic fluid inclusions and the impact of hydrothermal fluids on trace-element contents in minerals. Recent publications include investigations into the properties of H2O-NaCl±KCl fluid inclusions and their phase equilibria, as well as studies on trace elements in white mica and tourmaline from the Panasqueira W–Sn–Cu deposit in Portugal.
