The Samant Lab at the Babraham Institute is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join their team investigating the mechanisms by which cellular senescence and proteostasis dysregulation contribute to tissue ageing. The research will utilize advanced 3D models, such as organoids and air-liquid interfaces (ALIs), alongside cutting-edge imaging techniques to explore the molecular and cellular pathways involved in ageing and age-related diseases. The lab's interests span ubiquitin biology, proteostasis, proteomics, and the broader context of cellular ageing and senescence. The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant biological or biomedical discipline and demonstrated expertise in 3D cell culture models and advanced imaging. Experience with proteomics or molecular biology techniques is advantageous.
