Rebecca Drummond

Two postdoctoral scientist positions are available in a Novo Nordisk Foundation-funded project investigating brain-specific antifungal immunity . The project brings together fungal immunology, fungal biology, infectious diseases, and immunotherapy to understand how immune responses to fungal infection operate in the brain. One postdoctoral position is intended for immunologists with an interest in fungal infections, while the second is aimed at fungal biologists interested in immunology. The roles offer an opportunity to contribute to interdisciplinary research at the intersection of host–pathogen biology and immune-mediated protection in the central nervous system. The postdoctoral scientists will join Rebecca Drummond’s research team at the University of Manchester, working within a research environment focused on fungal immunology and infection biology.
