Rebecca Schroll is an Honorary Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Her research interests include surgical education, trauma management, and the evaluation of clinical practices in emergency settings. Recent publications highlight topics such as the impact of prehospital tourniquet use on trauma outcomes and the predictive capabilities of new injury severity scores in relation to mortality. Professor Schroll is actively engaged in enhancing resident education and investigating effective strategies for managing adverse surgical events.
