PhD Opportunity in Artificial Intelligence for PET Imaging and Medical Image Analysis

PhD opportunity at the University of Alberta in the Department of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging for research on artificial intelligence in PET imaging and medical image analysis . The project is aimed at quantitative PET imaging, with a strong emphasis on computational and data-driven methods relevant to medical physics and imaging science. The post is especially suitable for applicants with backgrounds in medical physics , biomedical engineering , computer science , physics , mathematics , or related disciplines. Preferred experience includes Python , machine learning , and/or medical imaging . The position is based in Edmonton, Canada , with a proposed start in Q1 2027 .
