Biohub New York
New Today
Biohub New York is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow or Scientist I in T Cell Biology and Tissue Immunology to join Roham Parsa’s laboratory. The project investigates how T cells communicate with neighboring cells to create lasting immune traces known as “immunological engrams,” and how these traces of immune experience influence tissue homeostasis and responses to disease. The research combines spatial approaches developed in collaboration with Biohub’s spatial transcriptomics laboratory with engineered mouse models. The successful researcher will explore fundamental questions in immune-cell communication and tissue biology, with opportunities to develop creative approaches to biological problems. The laboratory offers a collaborative environment for investigating T cell biology, tissue immunology, spatial transcriptomics and in vivo genetic perturbation. Work may involve engineered mouse models and approaches such as CRISPR-mediated perturbation and viral transduction. Roham Parsa is Group Leader at Biohub New York and Adjunct Assistant Professor at The Rockefeller University. The position is intended for a curious, innovative and collaborative scientist interested in exploring how immune experience shapes tissues and disease responses.
