Rosario Sanchez-Pernaute is an Ikerbasque Research Professor at the Ikerbasque, Basque Foundation for Science, Spain. His research focuses on stem cell-based therapies, including applications for hydrocephalus, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and cellular therapies using brain organoids. He has also contributed to the understanding of a-synuclein inclusions and the development of imaging techniques for detecting SARS-CoV-2 models.
