Postdoctoral Position in Pharmacometrics, Multi-omics, and Precision Therapeutics for Pediatric IBD

Stanford University School of Medicine is advertising an open postdoctoral position in the Precision Therapeutics for IBD (Colman Lab) led by Ruben Colman . The project focuses on pharmacometrics , clinical pharmacology , and multi-omics approaches for improving treatment outcomes in children with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) . The postdoctoral scholar will work with an interdisciplinary team spanning clinical pharmacology, microbiome research, metabolomics, and computational analysis. The lab emphasizes precision dosing, PK/PD modeling, model-informed precision dosing, and AI/ML-assisted translational medicine. Research interests mentioned include integrating microbial biomarkers and other omics data to overcome the therapeutic ceiling in pediatric IBD. Eligibility: applicants must hold a PhD, PharmD, MD, or DO (or equivalent). Strong experience in pharmacometrics or bioinformatics/omics analysis is preferred, along with quantitative modeling skills in R and/or Python. Experience with NONMEM, PK modeling, reproducible workflows, and multi-omics datasets such as metagenomics, metabolomics, or proteomics is desirable. Funding: the appointment is fixed term for one year with opportunity for renewal. The expected base pay is the Stanford required minimum for postdoctoral scholars; the FY27 minimum is $79,056. How to apply: submit a single combined PDF with a letter of interest and research summary, CV/resume, and three references. Email the application materials to [email protected] and cc [email protected] . The post links to Stanford’s application portal and the Colman Lab website for more information.
