Dr. Sahruh Turkmen is a Senior Lecturer and Senior Consultant at Umeå Universitet Medicinska fakulteten in Sweden. His research areas focus on women's health issues, particularly in relation to endometriosis, the impact of hormones on pain, and obstetric outcomes. Recent publications include studies on pain mechanisms associated with altered GABAA receptor function, as well as hyperandrogenic symptoms in midlife women with PCOS. He also investigates neurosteroid involvement in threatened preterm labor.
