The research themes include multimodal and multilingual foundation models , vision-language and video-language models , long-horizon reasoning , self-improving AI systems , agentic AI , multi-stage reasoning pipelines, and efficient/scalable foundation models. There is also interest in AI for scientific and real-world applications , especially Earth observation and climate . The postdoctoral/research scientist profile is aimed at candidates with a strong research track record who can lead ambitious research directions. The engineering profile is for exceptional engineers with strong software and ML systems skills, especially those with experience in large-scale model training, multimodal/foundation models, distributed systems, or efficient inference.
