The Lee Lab, led by Assistant Professor Seungjae Lee at the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore, National University of Singapore, invites applications for postdoctoral researcher positions available from March 2027 onward. The lab studies the interface between RNA biology and cellular metabolism , including how metabolites, metabolic enzymes, and metabolic states influence RNA structure, processing, translation, localization, and function. Research directions include small RNA pathways such as miRNA, siRNA, and RNA interference; RNA-binding proteins; post-transcriptional gene regulation; metabolite–RNA and metabolite–protein interactions; functional genomics; high-throughput genetic and chemical screening; RNA therapeutics; and RNA regulation in cancer and disease. Applicants should hold or expect to receive a Ph.D. in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, cancer biology, chemical biology, computational biology, or a related field. RNA biology experience is not required, and researchers with complementary expertise are encouraged to apply. The position offers substantial freedom to develop independent projects in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment with advanced core facilities. Competitive compensation is available, based on qualifications and experience. Apply by emailing a CV, a brief research statement, and contact details for 2–3 referees to Dr. Lee. Applications are considered on a rolling basis.
