SRM AP Summer Intern Fellowship 2026 in Engineering for B.E./B.Tech Students

SRM University-AP, School of Engineering and Sciences (SEAS), is inviting applications for the SRM AP Summer Intern Fellowship (SIF) 2026 in Engineering. This is a one-month summer research internship for deserving B.E./B.Tech students from other colleges who want hands-on exposure to research in a university lab environment. The fellowship is aligned with major engineering research areas, including Computer Science and Engineering , Electronics and Communication Engineering , Electrical and Electronics Engineering , Mechanical Engineering , and Civil Engineering . Interns will work with experienced faculty mentors and gain access to advanced laboratories, ongoing research projects, and opportunities to contribute to publications. Funding and benefits: the internship provides a stipend of ₹8,000 for one month , complimentary on-campus accommodation , and travel support covering 3-tier train or bus fare from the home institute to SRM University-AP. A completion certificate is also awarded after successful completion of the internship. Eligibility: applicants must be in the 3rd or 4th year of a B.E./B.Tech program and must have a minimum CGPA of 8.0 or equivalent marks. The application should include academic details/transcripts, a reference letter from a teacher who taught the applicant, and a statement of purpose (SOP).
