PhD opportunity in Social Prescribing at Aalborg University Aalborg University is advertising one or more PhD stipends in Social Prescribing at the Department of Health Science and Technology , Faculty of Medicine. The position is linked to the EU-funded Social Prescribing EU (SP-EU) project and the Active Health research group. The PhD student will contribute to the first randomized controlled trial testing social prescribing in the Danish context, including a site-specific process evaluation of the trial rollout. The work involves collecting and analysing data, regular communication with participants, general practitioners, and link workers, and collaboration with the Danish research hub and the wider European consortium. Research areas and keywords: social prescribing, public health, primary health care, medicine, randomized controlled trial, process evaluation, health services research, and data analysis. Supervision: main supervisor is Professor Sine Agergaard ; co-supervisors are Professor Janus Laust Thomsen and Professor Søren Paaske Johnsen .
