Dr. Sivamani S, Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering at Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Chennai, is inviting motivated candidates to pursue a PhD under his supervision.

Specific topics include nanomaterial synthesis and characterization, CO2 capture/utilization/conversion, waste-to-energy conversion, wastewater and industrial effluent treatment, adsorbent development for pollutant removal, catalyst synthesis and applications, plastic waste management, resource recovery, and environmental remediation.
Eligible academic backgrounds include M.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Petroleum Refining and Petrochemicals, Environmental Engineering, integrated M.Tech/PhD pathways from B.Tech, and other relevant engineering or science disciplines. Both part-time and full-time research options may be available.
Funding is not guaranteed for all applicants, but eligible full-time research scholars may be considered for a stipend of 20,000 per month, subject to institutional requirements.
