Soohyun Im is an Assistant Professor at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York, USA. His research interests focus on the structural properties and mechanisms involving metallic glasses and thin films, including the glass forming ability of ZrCu and ZrCuAl alloys, as well as the integration of alpha-Ta films for quantum circuits. His recent publications examine medium-range ordering and structural heterogeneity in disordered materials, contributing to the understanding of their mechanical properties.
